Day 1
Arrival at the Berghaus Diavolezza
We meet for a delicious dinner at the Berghaus Diavolezza, discuss the day's itinerary and check our equipment.
Day 2
Ski tour on the Piz Palü
Early in the morning, we head down to the Pers Glacier, where we put on our climbing skins and prepare for the ascent. At a leisurely pace, we make our way through the Cambrena Cliffs with their impressive crevasses. After about three hours, we leave our skis at 3,730 meters and use crampons and ice axes to climb the final few meters to the east summit of Piz Palü. If conditions are good, we’ll continue on to the main summit at 3,900 meters. Then a fantastic, long descent awaits us all the way down to the Morteratsch train station.

For the ski tour to Piz Palü, you need to have ski touring experience. You must be proficient in kick turns and also be sure-footed and have a head for heights. You also need to have previous experience with crampons and ice axes.

6:00 pm
You meet your mountain guide at 6 pm for an aperitif at the Berghaus Diavolezza. The last cable car departs at 5 pm, or 5:20 pm in the peak summer season. Your mountain railroad ticket is deposited in your name at the ticket office of the Diavolezza mountain railroad.
The Diavolezza cable car valley station is easily accessible by public transport. Both the Rhaetian Railway and a bus serve the station. The stop is called Bernina Diavolezza.
There is a large, free parking lot at the valley station of the Diavolezza cable car.
The tour is also possible with a splitboard. The Diavolezza is a hotel, and we will book you a bed in a shared room as standard. However, you can also book a different room category (at an additional cost).
Group booking

Booking as part of a group is especially great value for individuals. To ensure the groups are as compatible as possible, it's important that you meet the requirements regarding endurance and technique.
For group tours/courses, the minimum number of participants must be reached for the tour to go ahead. If this number isn't reached, we'll get in touch, and you can decide whether you'd like to cancel the booking or move it to another date. You also have the option of booking the tour with a private mountain guide (see prices below).

The private price refers to 1 person. The price for additional persons will be calculated and displayed when filling out the booking/request form after adding the additional persons.
